I´m Born Kurt Donal Cobain and I was born on February the 20th of 1967 at Aberdeen, Washington, meanwhile I was growing in this small town I showed a great interest in arts and mainly in music, that´s why I learnt to play the piano by ear and later I created my own rock band, called Nirvana in 1988.

My Little sister, Kim and I used to had great time together, but also we used to deal with our parent´s fights, when they got divorced I became a withdraw person so I went to my father´s place to live, but when he remarried I felt that he always took my stepmother favored so those problems pushed me to start using drugs when I was at high school, which made me to stop carrying about my physical aspect.

I ended up alone when I committed suicide on April the 5th of 1994 at Seattle because I couldn´t stand all the pressure of being a rockstar, when I was only 27 years old.

Tank comat strategies for each type of tank

Light tanks: try to have close rang fights always, in orther to use your speed and tininess more accurately. Nether attempt to fight with any tank if you have to go up on a mountan because you will force your engine to work harder and will also advance slower and the tank that is above like as a matter of fact will shot you because you will be the less armoured tank that he detects.if you are going to fight on a prairie  do not go on a straight line these will increase the chances of enemy tanks hit you instead try to go zigzagging or covered by some tries or any type of exteral protection if you have to fight with more than two enemy vehicles never stop moving and do not stay a long time aiming and always look at the tank that has the more far position from yours. Do not let them by any means hit or destroy any modules on the tank don’t take raming damage.

Midle tanks: use your mid class turret always loking forward to see any light, medium or distracted heavy tank you can detect. Try to avoid frontal combat usuially you do not have big armour. Always use bullet penetration shell aim to the weak points of enemy vehicles and avoid being spotted if you are caught on a one on one match with a light tank try to put one of the latereal phases of the tank next to a wall to avoid he shots you on the back if you are against a heavy look for weak points ad try to find cover  as soon as possible. THESIS OF A CLOCKWORK ORANGE

In these thesis the author gives us a lot of details regarding the main ideas of the book and movie but based mainly on the book which has proven to be on of the most controversial books ever written for its thematic on which we see alex as a bad person who commits a lot of crimes for which we can hate him or as the man who suffered trition from his friends and suffered a lot in the ludovicos technique.

In the very first part of the novel we see the background information of England during the post war because we have some indirect references to these particular time and place. It is true because as we can see there are a lot of similarities we see in the book a lot of oppression on the people as we can see in the article people were oppressed with false illusions of better life’s. For me these part is really interesting and how at least England  reacts to some political conflicts and then we can say based in propaganda keeps heir population on a fake idea of what is life and what they wanted for their lives.

Then we see a short biography of his life and how his life help him develop some of the characters of his novels. These part was interesting for me because we see how in his life he said he was catholic and on the book these ideas are plasmed in the chaplain.

And in the last part he tells us the ways to understand alex not only for what he does on the book but also in more dramatic way how we interpret alex and how we see him. in my case I see alex as the person that was bad because we liked it but also as that young boy that suffered far more than what he deserved. it is interesting how we see him throughout the book I will compare him to another famous antihero whose actions are not the same but they are both antiheroes, Han Solo. Han solo is not a good reference because we can see him as a galactic gangster that at the end he and alex shere some common aspects like they both do wrong but they were also smart so that they don’t get caught and knew when it was time to stop sometimes.

Spain is a country full of culture, joy and host of the thousands of traditions that have influenced other nations. It is also known that Spain is one the most important countries in the football world. “La Liga” contains the highest qualities in aspects of players and teams. Most of the teams that go face to face with the biggest in the world and in Europe are Spaniard. Also, it characterizes for having the most influential fans; but the most dangerous at the same. It is a fact that Spaniard fans get crazy every time the ball runs on the field. But lately a new tendency of anger has appeared: the players get a very high salary according to what they do. This is considered unfair and wrong by the those who enjoy La Liga and for those who don’t.

Spain is recognized for preparing one the most professional and well prepared doctors in the world. A person that wants to become a doctor most spend around 8 or nine years of their lives (some times 12), depending on what specialty they want to study, to get the diploma that certifies them as professionals in the area. This requires daily study, doing practices and applying their knowledge in hospitals before they graduate. After that, there is a vague chance to get a full time job because the crisis that Spain is going through at the moment. Imaging that a young medicine graduated gets a job, the salary that they will get is not as high as the one that a soccer player gets.

Thousands of millions of euros is the number that we will get if we put in the market 10 La Liga players; and this is just their value. A soccer player salary goes beyond the tens of thousands euros each month; and that is just by being part of a team (without training, scoring or winning any championship). If a player scores so many time that he becomes a top scorer, wins a tournament and plays important matches, then the number will rise to half a million euros (give or take, depending on the player).

So what the fans ask to their selves is: why a soccer player by kicking a ball makes money fall from the sky, and a professional (let’s say a doctor) that sacrificed 8 years of his life doesn’t gets the half of a salary a soccer player gets? That actually has made people feel very angry because, as I previously stated, a soccer player gets paid by doing nothing and a doctor has to prepare himself for years to fall into the possibility that he doesn’t get to apply those years of study. This issue gets even bigger when a player is not at his 100%. In this case he is considered a waste of money (what he cost and what he get paid). This situation has driven to a polemic that doesn’t seems to have an end; because while a person gets more money than other which job is to save lives, there will always be an issue in the Spaniard fans.

But it is not less certain that football is the greatest passion in Spain. A lot of people gets benefits in this business because it creates a lot of jobs options. This has become one of the traditions a talked about at the beginning of this test. But it will always be an irregularity and an issue for Spain the marked differences that football represents.

To what extent and to what extent can be considered the next image a reflection of the absolute monarchy in comparison with the ideas of Thomas Hobbes?

Thomas Hobbes's ideas were based on his work Leviathan, which means the sovereign power, in which a indidual that has no divine right, have absolute power over the people. According to Hobbes, the first law of man is self-preservation: "Man is a wolf to man." He said that to establish order in a society we should give up part of our desires and we should form a "social contract" that guarantees us an order and to have guarantee on the contract, we should fall on someone and there will the absolute monarchy. Hobbes told the people that they could not have and will never have order if they do not have someone telling them what  to do.
Hobbes follows the contemporary totalitarianism, where there is no space for freedom and human rights, the State tundra is only required to have security and efficiently maintain authority.
As we can see in the image (Red Team) only people with authority mounted on a slave, as I said before Hobbes did not let the people have rights and freedoms, and that is what a slave does not have and will never have the slave is obviously someone in the village, covered her mouth to reflect that not a word about the other, and that covers her mouth is the one that handles it as if it were like a horse, also the slave has his covered, reflecting that they have no idea what is happening, they believed everything they said.
I can not see in the image his usual phrase "Man is a wolf to man," I believe but not assure that this painting may reflect that men are mounted on man are the wolves for the slave, the wolves attack and those assembled are attacking the slave that is bleeding and shackled.

Radka Mikulaková, a student at the Masaryk University wrote this thesis where he explained rhe reasons and the context of the ultra-violence inside “A Clockwork Orange”. I really liked the points he gave, although I have to disagree with some. He states at the introduction of his work that his main goal is to prove that the point of the book is not and adoration of violence, but instead, a defense of individuality and free will. He also says that through the main character, Alex, we can fully comprehend Burgess´ mind and thoughts about the world, and we are able to fully understand the idea with knowing the political and social background of the book.

Mikulaková firstly talks about the context of the book, and how it is important to us in order to understand the book´s purpose and theme. First of all, the book was inspired by the fact that his wife got raped by American soldiers way back in 1944. This moment is obvious that changed the way Burgess saw the world, and how he thought things in general. He even wrote this scene in A Clockwork Orange. Them we see the Nadsat, which he invented while he lived in Leningrad. Anthony Burgess´ life is a direct cause of the violence reflected by the book, and this work shows us how he felt in those moments of desperation and hate.

Now, after talking about Burgess´ life, Radka writes specifically about the composition of the book, specifying us the time, the characters, language and motives. Well, I´ll try to be brief. The time is somewhere in a Londonish city around the 60´s, but those aren´t the real 60´s since they are kind of a futuristic 60´s.  Then, he states that characters could be divides into the “good” and the “bad”, but as he says, no one can be good nor bad since goodness and badness are an inseparable pair. The point when analyzing the characters is to realize their humanity, if it even exists. We see that Alex is the protagonist and the narrator, and he is presented as a brutal and barbaric person with no feelings whatsoever. He has his friends, who are also incredibly violent, and his parents, who don´t really care about him that much. Radka also writes about the importance of the Nadsat, and how it affects the story and the experience. Finally, he talks about motives. There are a bunch of them, and all of this are incredibly important to understand the storyline, and more importantly, the main character. We can say that Alex´s way to explain badness is the most important, since he chooses to be “bad” just because he wanted to. This explains free will and the development of humanism in himself, as well as the true worth of morality and values. We can see that the work is way more complex to understand than what everyone thinks it is, and that the ultra-violence reflected on it has actually something really reasonable behind it.

I really like how this writer analyzes the book, and I think that he is really right on his points. I have to say that I find the theme of the book way deeper than before, since through analyzing Alex and the whole context of the story, I get to understand Burgess´ point on society. The ultra-violence shown in the book isn´t necessarily ultra-violent when you compare it to the day-to-day society. I like the fact that we are able to show the importance of some moral things through written works, but I still think that humanity has future, and “A Clockwork Orange” isn´t a representation of the society´s future.

In this article the authors main aim is to analyze the paper of an Anti-hero in Anthony Burgess “A Clockwork Orange”. To do so, he begins his article by analyzing some important points that may help us to make a deeper interpretation of the novella.

The settings are considered very important to the author, that’s why he starts giving a preamble of Burgess’s life and the lifestyle in Britain by the time “A Clockwork Orange was written”. As we could read, British society had a huge influence of the American culture and new tendencies. Paraphrasing the author, British people only wanted to have their houses and factories full of machines and with the latest technologies, even if they had their heads empty. At that time (between 1950s and 1960s, and some years later after the beginning of the 60s) there were some internal conflicts in Britain, which involved Commonwealth and racial discrimination and genres preferences; but as I already stated, there were new technologies entering the country. So we can say that even when there were some political and social problems in Britain, there were some good aspects in this period of time. Get to know this is important because even when there is no exact place were “A Clockwork Orange” takes life, many readers and critics assume that the atmosphere of the story is London.

A story is created inside his authors head, that’s why the author of this article also gives some important aspects of Burgess life, so we can see some symbolism behind the story. For example, in one part of the story a women is receiving physical abuse from a bunch of young guys, that is connected to the way Anthony Burgess’s first wife died (attached by American soldiers). Also Burgess was a catholic, which helps us see why the theme of faith versus free will is constantly giving signals of its existence in the story. Some other aspects as his knowledge about Russian language and its influence in the creation of Nadsat (fictional language created by the author) are also mentioned.

An Anti-hero is a character (literary device) used to contrast the main character of a story. The objective of the use of these literary device is highlight some qualities (generally good) from the main character and make more complicated the success of the “hero”. But in “A Clockwork Orange” the use of this concept has some transformations. Alex, which is deeply analyzed, is a young guy that can not tell the difference between goodness and badness. So he commits some bad actions (if we see it from an external perspective) which are not considered bad to himself. Actually, he finds what he does funny, attractive and obviously, not bad at all. The point of the novel is to criticize a society or picturing a situation that at any time may appear in the pages of history. Some sort of dystopia were governmental forces get to do whatever they want (even transforming us from being bad to good). So we can tell that Alex is the main character and at the same time the anti-hero of the story, because he experiences the manipulation of the government that makes him be good and bad at the same time; all depends on whose eyes.

Of course, the analysis of the language wasn’t absent in this text. The most attractive thing in this aspect obviously is the Nadsat and its application in the English grammar. Nadsat was a particular thing from teenagers and bad “malchicks” in the story. By including it in the English grammar we can say that Burgess wanted to express similarity between the youth in his story and the real youth. So, again, here is a critique to contemporary society; expressed through the similitude between a fictional dystopia that takes place anywhere and anytime and a future that may occur somewhere, sometime.

This article wants to make a deep analysis on “A Clockwork Orange”, which I think is completely achieved. I found very interesting every aspect the author gives because they helped me realize that this novel is actually a “guided reflection” of what the world is or may be. In my opinion, and in support with the expressed in this article, all this interpretation is tied to the particular and unique use of language in Burgess “A Clockwork Orange”.

After reading this essay I noticed some things that I haven’t noticed before, for example that A Clockwork Orange is a reflection of Burgess’ life (nadsat which is invented to separate Young people from the old one is a mix between English because he is British and Russian because he went to Leningrad, also when Alex killed the lady of the cats represent that his wife died in the same year) and the reality of the world in that moment.

Although we have a feeling that the story takes place in England we can’t know for sure because the author invented the places that are mentioned. The only historical references that Burgess gives us are that it is after the Second Word War after the 60’s. The street, his house and the Korova bar can be related to Alex’s freedom because he could decide what to do in these places, but when he went to jail it represented that his freedom has ended and he has to make responsible of his actions and accept the consequences.

Also we can relate music and violence with freedom. When he was in his room and in prision, he could decide when to listen to music and what music to listen, but when he went to the place where he would “become a good human being” music and violence was used against him with the Ludovico’s Treatment.

The author explained that the characters of A Clockwork Orange are divided into “good” and “bad” which is pathetic because everyone is good and bad in their own way. The reason why Alex was submitted to the Ludovico’s treatment was because society in the book thought that Alex was the bad guy but actually the politicians and doctors were acting the same. The only way to make Alex change his mind was to be patient so he can mature and become a responsible person (this is the reason why at the end of the book he is bored of violence), not submitted him to the Ludovico’s Treatment (which is name like that because they used Ludwig van Beethoven’s music to torture Alex) which is like doing the same as Alex. This posture belong to the Chaplain which is actually Burgess’ way of thinking, but some readers get confused between the narrator’s opinion and the author’s opinion which also defends free will and not Alex’s way of acting because he thinks that it is a privilege every human being should have although if our actions are good or bad.

By reading all these essays that you made us read I noticed that A Clockwork Orange is an amazing book, and that it is a reflection of our reality, maybe we don’t want to see it or can’t see it but it is there. Violence is there. It’s in front of our faces but we refuse to see it. We live in our little perfect world where rapping, robbery and assassination aren’t a problem for us. Why do we refuse to see it?
