A Clockwork
Orange
The article
tells us that the usage of nadsat was a very important part in the way we read
the story because it give us the opportunity to miss some details if we want to
(If the scene is of ultra-violence or the old in and out)these makes the loose
the sense of violence and makes it a much more enjoyable for the public,
another characteristic is that it gives an idea of how teenagers were
specifically Alex we can see in Nadst a lot of his personality and describes
him quit well as the careless ultraviolent and a little infant stylish.
After I read
this a rewatced the film and for me nadsat in the movie losses all these values
it loses power when you start to see and watch I mean they do use natsat but it
seems that it is simply as decorative. These is something I want to retake I believe
that when we read the book when we read natsat what we are going to be thinking
will be the way we interpret the seen if we are too engaged with the book we will
notice every detail but in the other hand if we are not paying all our attention
towards what we are reading we will misunderstand some details.
For me
natsat is part of the essence off the book that is as important as the
characters because this is what characters are and how they behave. We would
not be able to understand the story without nadsat because it gives to the
novel a new focus and gives the teenagers an identity which constantly
contrasts with the elder people and make us see another feature of the nature
of these young new men. For me this was the reason the novel was so popular
because nadsat gave you the option of
blinding you a little so that you don’t see the horror but you still can
understand the book.
