Essay Comparisson

So I read the articles posted on the blog about the critics on "A Clockwork Orange". They have differents points of view and analyze main points on how the movie and the book where such a big success.
The first essay named“A Clockwork Orange and Its Disconvenís” talks and explains how Stanley Kubrick uses the classic music to créate an atmosphere where Alex has no idea what he does. The connection between the sound and the music makes me imagine Alex has no idea what he does either the consequences his actions brings. In this part, the critic does not agree with me. He says the classic music should be used for soft and calmed scenes as most of the movies do. I disagree besucase the union between the music and the actions on the movie makes it unique as I explained before.
The second essay makes a comparisson between the book and the movie, showing how some parts are not shown weather on the book or movie. A great example he uses is the excessive use of NADSAT in the book and the fluent english used in the movie where there are little words of NADSAT. He also makes a little observation like complaining saying that Anthony Burgess destroyed and horrified english by using those words. I do disagree with this comment besucase the use of NADSAT in the book makes a youthful atmosphere so you can undertand Alex and his "friends"

  1. Good job. On the next essay try to follow the structure of an essay and go beyond simnply describing or summarizing the essays. Analyze them and tell me what you think.
