I agree with the author´s way of thinking because we are constantly facing violence, starting from the government to our own family, but we don´t complain about it because it is not seen in a physical way.

Nevertheless when we start to watch scenes of brutal violence we start to struggle, leaving by side that the actual brutality is the level of duplicity that society works with.

This said before we can say that Alex wasn´t acting against morality, because according to how others act morality has the same meaning that Alex has, which can be summarized in do whatever it takes to stand out.
