Weekly entrance

Delinquency in young people:
Now at days is very common to see in the news young people getting arrested, psycho-analyzed or being recorded by public video cameras while hey are committing robberies. Solutions are requested to the governments, which are desperately looking for spaces to put these socially dangerous young people. They are not dangerous; they are just reflecting what they had learned in their different areas of development.
For example, a kid who has had a family that protects him, that gives him every tool he need to turn into a professional and so, is not in the need of involving in crime. Actually, mainly these kids are the ones that some day may be on TV talking about the violent youth. Just talking, that is the real problem. If the increasing number of criminal kids is a problem that involves a whole, then the verb “talking” must be replaced by the phrase “doing something about it”. I’m sure that there are social programs which aim is finding a good path for these kids, but I’m even more sure that there are more people talking than people involved in such programs.
Poorness, drugs a family traditions and violence are just some reasons and factors that make the youth, the future of a nation, fall into an abysm that is only half analyzed. Kids around the world have witnessed the violence inside their own homes, but instead of trying to solve this situation, unfortunately society only criticizes how bad youth is outdoors. The real crime here, is how this essential part of the story is forgotten during a trial where a kid is sitting in the “chair of the guilty”.
This is the way “higher forces” get away of hard work and loosing money in a real issue that is fixing young people’s lives. Only checking the crime scene, the moment that 17 years old boy pulled the trigger; will always be easier that giving real and convincing reason why not doing such a thing. I’m not saying that governments are lazy, I just want to highlight that they prefer using their time and money in bigger “problems”, but I don’t think that is there something more important than an already broken future.

There’s still a chance to make the difference and saving what is left of kindness in our infants. If the problem is the unstable families, let’s talk to those in need and try to help them the best we can. If the problem is governmental, we should fix our leaders and turning into the leaders if it is necessary.

  1. Great topic! It is definitely something that needs to be discussed more than it is. Your argument is fairly well developed and you provide some good details. Watch your sentence structure and some of your phrasing. Seperate your paragraphs either with an empty line or by indenting.
