Grade my Brain.
CRAP! sorry about that, they told me that you should always start a text with a hook. anyhow, school, yeah that place that most of us have been in and all hated. the truth it that as you advance in your studies you start looking back only to realize that it wasn't that bad at all. but even now, as a high school student there is something that bugs me a lot. Grades.
your entire life parents, teachers, friends and others have made you believe that the grades you get will determine your intelligence. most of the exams in school are not about abilities they are memory tests. some people do not have such a great memory but they can have abilities in other areas, however school does not give one damn about that. if a child is a great pintor, and suddenly fails a math exam I can guarantee that most people would get him out of painting class and throw him into a math class.
the current educational system does not focus on a kid's abilities individually, which generalizes the expectations and thereafter fails to properly use all of the abilities they can offer. the expectations of a school (to my point of view) at least in the traditional systems, is to create a bunch of working brainwashed kids to then consume and produce, so that the cycle can be repeated. I've never thought of school as a place for smart people, first of all in elementary school if you challenge a teacher, if you correct them, you are a threat to the system and a bad influence on innocent obedient children. Bullshit, what schools should be teaching the children is how to use their brains, how to think outside the box and how to question. to question everything, from the answer the teacher wrote on the board, to the meaning of life.
I remember as a child, how i would always end up in the principals office, or the corner of the classroom, because I had an "attitude" guess i do, I don't like being in a place where you have to ask permission to go and relief you basic needs, nor do I feel comfortable having to write what other people tell me or learn how others want me to. but that's just me.
Great job! I can feel your ´love´of school. And in case you were wondering your grade for this entry is a 100.
